Komagome Station
28 駒込駅

Komagome Station still holds a great part of the Edo charm as is clear from the few gardens and altars situated in the encompassing territories.

Komagome Stationis a little station serving the 山手線 and 南北線 and is encompassed by two huge and well known greenery enclosures.

Rikugien Garden is a five moment stroll toward the south of 駒込駅, and is viewed as one of Japan's most wonderfully arranged greenery enclosures. It's development started in 1695 and was finished in 1702 and contains a 池 with a few islands in the middle, man-made slopes secured in bushes and trees, forested territories, slanted and natural 橋 crossing the streams and pave the way to and far from the lake, 石灯ろう, and a few wooden 茶室.

The name 六義園 signifies, "the six components of verse garden." The originators took this truly and there are 88 scenes from a few popular waka-style Japanese 詩 reproduced all through the patio nursery. 六義園 is entirely roomy and a stroll along every last bit of it's ways will take you no less than 60 minutes.

The other patio nursery is the Kyu Furukawateien, a 10-15 minutes stroll toward the north of Komagome on the Hongo Dori. The 旧古河庭園 consummately mixes an eastern style Japanese greenhouse with a western style garden. A western style stone chateau, reminiscent of those found in the English 田舎, sits on top of a slope on the north side of the patio nursery ignoring the Japanese greenery enclosure at the base of the slope toward the south of it. The incline between the manor and trees encompassing the Japanese style garden contains an extremely well kept ばら庭園 with various assortments of roses.

At the focal point of the Japanese greenhouse is a lake loaded with 鯉 fish and turtles. The lake is sustained by counterfeit waterfall. A stone lamp and a 茶室 add to the magnificence. Whatever is left of the greenhouse is delicately inclining slopes and lush territories with stone light lined ways driving all through. This great mix of 東 and west(西、にし)cannot come prescribed exceptionally enough.
